From Halifax to Toronto, he has worked in many nightclubs pumping up the dancefloor with his blend of Top 40, Hip Hop, R&B, Dancehall, Oldschool, Reggae, Dance and Rock. Beginning in the late 80’s, David is one of the longest running DJ’s still active in Canada.

DJ TEX
Rob Barron aka DJ Tex is a member of the always influential Halifax LIFTED Crew, and relatively new to the club DJ scene. He works every day searching out the next big hit or the hottest remix of current or past chart toppers. If he can not find a remix he likes, he will make it himself.
Tex is a party rocking DJ to the core, who learned from the best. Mixing current Top 40 with a dash of Electro Hop and stacks of Remixes all thrown into a crossfader fueled musical blender, his dance floors are jammed packed and sweaty.

DJ CU$ jumped into the DJ scene in 2006, he’s been constantly evolving his technique. With a mix show on one of Halifax’s hottest radio stations and several club residencies, he is no stranger to Halifax’s club scene. With his first-rate track selection and absurd dance moves CU$ conquers any crowd… BANG BANG!!!

FRANKIE HOLLYWOOD
 Back in the day when most of my friends were rockin’ out to Kiss, Kurt Cobain and Sound Garden; the magic of the mix got my attention. I bought two turntables and a microphone and started spinning music.
My mother says she can still hear the music coming from the walls in the basement! I guess I pounded into the concrete.
I love new skool but I really dig the old skool hip hop and R&B!!!
I started in radio in the early 90’s and I’ve worked from Nova Scotia to Victoria, BC and back, on the air and off the air.
Along with being on the air at some of the country’s hottest top 40 stations like Hot 103 Winnipeg, 107 3 Kool Fm Victoria BC and 630 CFCY back in the day, I was in the clubs either mixing for the night or MC-ing for some of this country’s most skilled DJs like the award winning DJ Fin-s, Tha Coach, DJ Hectic, DJ III Zero, DJ DLO and DJ Steve Adams.
Hosting, partying and mixing in places like Myron’s in PEI, the world famous Palamino, Pharaohs Nightclub, Tijuana Yacht Club in Winnipeg, along with Stages and Armani’s back in the day in Thunder Bay.
Born and raised on Cape Breton, I’m currently at 101.3 the Bounce waking you up in the morning (Frankie Hollywood & The Morning Bounce), mixing all the latest Jams and old skool at The Dome every Friday night and in the Chandelier Room at Taboo every second Saturday night.
